Armadillo Lo-Pro
Armadillo Lo-Pro is a satellite-based tracking and risk management device for vehicles. The compact system uses the Iridium satellite network, offering reliable and totally global coverage. Simple and robust, it is ideal for governments, militaries and corporations operating in harsh, demanding environments.
With small, easy to conceal GPS and communication antennas, Armadillo Lo-Pro is less conspicuous than other vehicle tracking technologies. It is also capable of operating without an external antenna for extra low profile use and can easily be reinstalled into different vehicles or dismounted and carried on foot. Integrated into the Track24 C4i platform, operations staff can monitor the device’s status and location on digital mapping via the Internet.
Tracking
Armadillo Lo-Pro uses the Iridium satellite network and can operate anywhere in the world. The system sends position reports from 2 minute intervals upwards and the reporting interval can be reconfigured remotely via Track24’s web based C4i platform.
Panic Alarm
In an emergency the panic alarm triggers a visual and audible alarm on the C4i platform. Alert notifications are automatically forwarded by SMS and e-mail to designated recipients.
Battery Life
The rechargeable battery is capable of powering the unit for up to 1 month. Battery life can be further extended by using a built-in motion sensor to reduce reporting frequency when a vehicle is not moving.
