GeoPak

A unique GSM-based global tracking device, waterproof, durable and discrete, the GeoPak is a wearable aid to personal security. Featuring an integral panic alarm and GPS locator, its innovative design is ideal for waterborne operations, tropical environments, static guarding, leisure marine and security operations.

Design

The GeoPak is the first personal tracking device of its kind to be contained in a slimline rubber pouch, making it fully waterproof. The innovative flexible design means it can be carried in a pocket, on body armour or worn comfortably around the arm using an elasticated sleeve concealed beneath clothing.

Tracking

The device is suitable for use in areas with GSM coverage. Its quad-band GSM transmitter sends the user’s position by SMS to the Track24 crisis management software, the C4i platform, at frequent intervals where it can monitored onscreen on digital mapping.

Panic alarm

Once the panic button is pressed on the personal tracker, the integral buzzer/vibrator activates for 5 seconds to let the wearer know that the alarm message has been sent. Moments later, audible and visual alerts will be triggered on the Track24 C4i application in the client monitoring/operations centre. At the same time, alerts will be automatically forwarded by SMS and e-mail to nominated recipients. When in panic mode the GeoPak will also open up a voice channel allowing crisis management personnel to listen in and assess the situation.

Charging

The device is charged by simply hanging it on an inductive charging hook (see below). When removed the system will ‘wake up’ and send a message to the C4i platform. When it is replaced for charging it will enter ‘sleep’ mode.
