Your Thuraya phone needs the TrackMe II

The TrackMe II attaches to your Thuraya satellite phone, combining voice, tracking and alert functions in a single handheld unit. This compact unit will transform your Thuraya satellite phone into a personal tracker complete with panic button, vehicle docking station and wireless alert button.

The TrackMe II allows organisations to track and monitor personnel equipped with generation 1 Thuraya phones*.

Fully integrated into the Track24 C4i platform, TrackMe II provides near-real time position reporting and rapid notification if an incident occurs. Multi-mode, your TrackMe II can transmit on both GSM and Thuraya networks. The standard voice call and text message features of your phone can continue to be used as normal when the TrackMe II device is attached.

The TrackMe II’s panic button allows you to send out a distress signal, pinpointing your exact location and initiating a chain of notification:

• audible and visual alerts will appear on the Track24 C4i platform;
• notification of the alarm will be automatically forwarded by SMS and email to relevant contacts;
• your phone will make an automated call to a pre-defined number, allowing operations staff to hear what is happening.

The TrackMe II system also features a wireless alert button. This keyring-sized device enables you to activate the panic alarm or manually transmit your position when away from the main device. Multiple alert buttons can be used with a single TrackMe II system.
