Intersec 2009 and Nomad
Track24 launched Nomad – its latest product in cutting edge crisis management systems – at Intersec Dubai 2009.
As one of the world’s leaders in Security Tracking and Risk Management (STRMS), Track24 was a key exhibitor at Intersec, the annual trade fair and conference on international security, held at the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 18-20.
Intersec 2009 showcased security from a diverse perspective with platforms provided for Commercial Security, Information Security, Fire & Rescue, Health & Safety and Homeland Security and Counter-Terrorism, Policing and Law Enforcement.
The exhibition saw global experts, as well as worldwide and regional authorities, gathering to outline an international perspective on today’s security issues, including the challenges and opportunities faced from terrorism and serious organised crime.
The Homeland Security, Counter-Terrorism, Policing and Law Enforcement section of Intersec 2009 focused on border protection, supply chain security and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
Intersec was the ideal platform for Track24 to launch Nomad, the newest communications and crisis management system which combines the Motorola MOTOTRBO™ analog/digital UHF radio system with the power and vision of Track 24’s C4i platform.
Nomad will greatly change the way that companies manage their infrastructure, perimeter and small area protection. Nomad’s radio communication with inbuilt GPS and panic alarms will revolutionise the way these facilities are protected.
Track24’s focus is, of course, security tracking and risk management. All Track24 devices were on display at Intersec. Visitors were able to see and understand the capabilities of the C4i platform first hand with live software demonstrations.
