The New Track24 Armadillo Lo-Pro

Track24 is pleased to announce the launch of a new low profile addition to the Armadillo range of vehicle tracking and risk management devices. Armadillo Lo-Pro offers Track24 clients completely global coverage, including the Arctic and Antarctic regions, and a level of versatility not yet seen in vehicle tracking solutions.

Armadillo Lo-Pro is a new global satellite tracking solution that pioneers how companies manage risk in some of the most dangerous regions around the globe.

The system is used in conjunction with the  Track24 C4i platform - a secure, web-based monitoring and crisis management application - to provide organisations with visibility and control over their deployed assets.

With small, easy to conceal GPS and communication antennas, Armadillo Lo-Pro is less conspicuous than other vehicle tracking technologies. Using its internal antennas it can even be placed on the dash of a vehicle or aircraft, or carried on foot without the need to connect the external antennas. Armadillo Lo-Pro offers exceptional battery life of up to 1 month of continuous operation, making hardwiring of the power supply optional but not necessary.

Armadillo Lo-Pro uses the Iridium satellite network and can operate anywhere in the world. The system incorporates configurable reporting rates from 2 minute intervals upwards.

In an emergency the panic alarm triggers a visual and audible alarm on the C4i platform. Alert notifications are automatically forwarded by SMS and e-mail to designated recipients.
